PixelPusher and YTV launch The Virtual Next Star Contest

Pixel Pusher and YTV teamed up to deliver the Virtual Next Star Contest. This contest now in it's second year is an online companion to the popular kids TV show: The Next Star. The Kids get to choose from a song list and they get to record their song live into a webcam.

Score A Hockey Musical

Yes you read that correctly: Score - A Hockey Musical is coming to theaters October 22nd. This never before tried concept of matching hockey with singing has been chosen as the opening film at the Toronto Film Festival ( September of 2010 ). The movie stars Olivia Newton John is a love story about a pick-up league hockey player who makes it big.

Kraft Picks The Top 10 Communities

Kraft announced the top 10 communities in the Kraft Celebration Tour. Each community voted in 10 x 2 way competitions. When the votes where counted 10 communities won a prize of $25,000 each to spruce up a local community center. An amazing 4.2 million votes were counted during the voting phase and over 2,000 comments were made on the microsite.

Unilever Consumer Creative Challenge


Consumer packaged goods company Unilever is putting on a user generated ad contest. They are asking the audience of the London Film Festival to make an ad about one of their brands. Over $140,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to over 60 filmmakers. Users download the creative briefs and have until September 15th to submit their ad.
